Yes. Sentio requires no registration or login. You are identified only by a randomly generated anonymous ID stored locally on your device. No personal information — name, email, phone number, or location — is ever collected or linked to your votes. Your votes are stored in aggregated form to compute collective sentiment.
After each session closes, Sentio retrieves real price data — SPY from Polygon.io and BTC from the Binance public API. Your sentiment vote is compared against actual market direction. Your temperature vote is compared against realized volatility. Over time, your personal accuracy rate is built from these scored votes. Past accuracy is purely informational and does not predict future market direction.
Currently SPY (S&P 500 ETF) and BTC (Bitcoin). Each asset has its own independent daily vote and collective sentiment gauge. Additional assets may be introduced in future versions.
