Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sentio application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use Sentio. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

Description of service

Sentio is a daily market sentiment ritual application. It allows users to anonymously cast daily sentiment votes on financial assets (currently SPY and BTC), view aggregated collective sentiment from the user community, and track their personal accuracy against real market outcomes. The service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.

Not financial advice

Sentio, its operators, and Disapline are not registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, financial planners, or licensed financial professionals. Nothing communicated through the Sentio app or website — including collective sentiment data, accuracy metrics, or any other content — constitutes:

Financial, investment, or trading advice
A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, digital asset, or other financial instrument
A solicitation or offer to engage in any investment activity
A guarantee of any investment outcome or return

You are solely responsible for your own investment and trading decisions. Always seek the advice of a qualified and regulated financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

Risk disclosure

Trading financial instruments, including equities and cryptocurrencies, involves a substantial risk of loss and may not be suitable for all individuals. The value of investments can go down as well as up. You could lose all of your invested capital. User eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Sentio. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
Use automated systems or bots to submit votes or interact with the service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its related systems

Intellectual property

The Sentio name, logo, brand identity, design, and all related materials are the intellectual property of Disapline. All rights reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission from Disapline.

Third-party data and services

Price data used for accuracy scoring is sourced from Polygon.io (SPY) and the Binance public API (BTC). Sentio does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this third-party data. Sentio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Polygon.io, Binance, Apple, or Google.

Disclaimer of warranties

Sentio is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sentio and Disapline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, trading losses, or any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Sentio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
